Featuring the same high-quality construction as our other Single Row Deep Groove Radial Ball Bearings, they are manufactured to ISO9001 and TS-16949 standards with the inner ring, outer ring and balls processed from vacuum degassed 52100 bearing steel. Before assembly, these components are heat treat hardened to produce a durable wear surface on the balls and ball tracks. The ball retainers and shields are produced from cold rolled steel. As with our other premium grade Single Row Deep Groove Radial Ball Bearings, the 6300 Metric Series come lubricated with Chevron SRI#2 grease and are considered Lubed-for-Life.
They are available in an Industrial Grade, produced to ABEC 1 classification and feature dual-lip non-contact double seals (2RS) or metal shields (ZZ). For high precision, electric motor applications, the 600 Miniature Series Metric Radial Ball Bearings are sometimes available in a Premium Grade, produced to ABEC 3 classification and feature triple-lip light contact seals (2RD) or metal shields (ZZ QE6).
Functionally similar to the 6200 Series, the 6300 Series is produced with a larger ball complement and heavier races allowing greater radial, thrust and combined load capacity for a given bore size and the ability to withstand larger shock loads.
